 ReSET Health & Fitness - the small gym with a big difference…..

There are quite a number of gyms and most of them cater to a mass market. If you like getting lost in the anonymity of a big gym, and you are very well motivated, that's fine.

But here at ReSET we offer something different.

It's run by Personal Trainer Graham Moxon and, along with fellow Personal Trainer Philip, they strive to ensure that all their clients are getting the maximum benefit from their membership.  ReSET is a small private gym with a limit on the number of clients who can use it at any one time. 

Graham started out over 10 years ago working predominantly with patients referred to him by GP's for recovery from illness and injury and progressed on to offering 1 to 1 personal training to the public. After a while it became apparent that although people can't necessarily pay out for that level of service long term, they'd still appreciate an element of supervision. Graham met the needs of these clients and met them midway by creating an environment where clients could come to keep up the good work they'd started through personal training but where they'd receive more guidance and encouragement than offered by the average gym.

Graham believes that people need supervision 90% of the time when they are exercising because, apart from the added motivation and variety to the sessions, so many problems are caused by mis-use of equipment or incorrect body position.

What's more, we offer you greater flexibility than big chains as there is no joining fee and no contract. It often seems to be the case that people join gyms and stop going after a few months but continue to pay out for it hoping they will go back. It's amazing how much money people throw away in the pursuit of a dream of healthier lifestyle that is never fulfilled.

It's easy to lose motivation after a while. The way we do it here is very different. Firstly, we have a booking system, which increases motivation to attend the gym.  Secondly, there is always someone here to oversee what people are doing and to remind them of the best way to use the equipment and get the most out of their gym session. We review the programs and vary them regularly.
